This is a time when our Mental capacities are being challenged – I woke up this morning to see a gloomy day, the sky is dark, the streets are empty, not even the wind was blowing and the place is deafenly quiet. My radio which is always playing on one of the religious stations had a preaching going on, the church I attend was having prayer meeting and what we call “pre-session” which is intended to inspire all those who are listening . As I joined in on the regular Sunday Morning Service on youtube I was still in deep thought when the song “I pray we all be ready” rushed to my mind, then another “what a day that will be when my Jesus I will see…” and my mind just keep going all over to my immediate family, church family, friends, community and it goes on..,,,,,,
As We are in the confines of our homes enjoying the service and the rain started to drizzle followed shortly by the sunshine, In this moment it’s not difficult to think that you are the only one in this mode and here come the song from the sanctuary “never alone, no never alone.” Yes, Jesus promised never to leave us alone and I felt better with this reminder.
The interesting thing about human beings is that one can be in a crown but still fell alone but with the assurance of Jesus Christ we can be ALONE but not LONELY. Yes, and as the Pastor says in his message ‘in season of distress and grief our souls find relief in our Saviour; So if you are in my country, or wherever you are, being impacted by Covid -19 I leave his closing words to you today – “there is coverage in the name of JESUS so get covered (if you are not) and if you are please STAY COVERED.
Be blessed friends
