Over the past few years I’ve I found that there are a few simple things that we can do to both improve our health and mental health. These methods I’m sure is already known but not practiced nearly enough.
The example or imagery that I like to use is a flower. How so you say? Well here is my thought process. There are a few things that are needed in order for a flower to prosper and flourish.
The first is. It has to be planted in good soil. ( a positive environment) Surround yourself with likeminded people or people who you’re aspiring to have their energy.
The second is. Fresh Air. I found that when we are in a low place getting fresh air lifts our spirit and energy.
The third is sunlight. The sun is NEEDED. It has many purposes. It good for our eyes (lack of sunlight reduces clarity of vision), it’s good for our skin, it’s good for our hair and the list goes on and on.
The fourth is water. Water is essential and arguably the most important. It activates everything. Water can be looked at as your mindset in my opinion. Without I these things combined the flower won’t grow. Likewise in our daily lives.
Give these things a consistent and combined try and I’ll guarantee that you’ll feel better both physically and mentally. These are things that I myself struggle with at times because as with most things it requires a disciplined approach but one thing I can assure you is than when they are put into practice it’s a huge help. Even while I writing this post my blinds are all the way up (sunlight) and windows are halfway open (fresh air) feels so good for my physical well-being. I would’ve had them all the way open but here in the northeast today is in the low 30s.
As usual guys
